I know that the English language is not the absolute absolutum of languages on the planet but it is the dominant one used and known by most. I can't even imagine a time when German will be the main language spoken by the majority of Earth's people. It's has a nice smooth tone to the German but I think the English language has already conquered Earth. I think it just needs a little tweaking. :)
